Day 2
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (approx. 8 hours by road or internal flight to Kihihi). Arrive at forest-edge lodge. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Trekking day. Morning briefing at 7:30 with rangers. Begin trek into the impenetrable forest (duration varies 2-8 hours depending on gorilla family location). Up to 1 hour of close-up observation of mountain gorillas in their habitat. Return to lodge. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Visit local Buhoma village. Meet the Batwa community (the "forest people"). Free afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
